Proposition 1 Spokane County Fire Protection District No. 12 Emergency Medical Services Regular Property Tax Levy Shall Spokane County Fire Protection District No. 12 be authorized to levy a regular property tax in the sum of $.50 per $1000 assessed valuation each year for six consecutive years beginning in 2027 to be collected in 2027 through 2032, inclusive, for the provision of Emergency Medical Services all as provided in Spokane County Fire Protection District No. 12 - Resolution No. 26-4 and the Laws of the State of Washington RCW 84.52.069?
A “Yes” vote means
Fire District 12 keeps its emergency medical services property tax levy at $0.50 per $1,000 of assessed value for six years, collected 2027 through 2032.
A “No” vote means
Fire District 12 does not levy the six-year emergency medical services property tax.

Spokane County Fire District #12 provides emergency medical services to the residents of Latah and Waverly and the surrounding unincorporated areas. This proposition will authorize the district to retain its existing regular real property tax levy rate of $.50 per $1000 assessed valuation for the next six years, beginning in 2027. The fire commissioners have determined that this proposition is necessary to adequately provide emergency medical services to the many residents in our district.
