PROPOSITION 1 DIXIE SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 101 REPLACEMENT CAPITAL LEVY FOR HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENTS The Board of Directors of Dixie School District No. 101 adopted Resolution No. 1, concerning a proposition to finance health, safety and energy efficiency improvements. This proposition would authorize the District to levy the following excess taxes, in place of an expiring levy, on all taxable property within the District to continue funding health, safety and energy efficiency improvements at Dixie School: Collection Year Estimated Levy Rate/$1,000 Assessed Value Levy Amount 2027 $0.50 $75,000 2028 $0.50 $75,000 2029 $0.50 $75,000 2030 $0.50 $75,000 2031 $0.50 $75,000 2032 $0.50 $75,000 all as provided in Resolution No. 1. A “Yes” vote means

The district would levy $75,000 a year from 2027 through 2032 (about $0.50 per $1,000 of assessed value) for health, safety and energy efficiency improvements at Dixie School.

A “No” vote means

The district's expiring capital levy would not be replaced when it ends in 2026.

EXPLANATORY STATEMENT PROPOSITION NO. 1 – REPLACEMENT CAPITAL LEVY FOR HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENTS Passage of Proposition No. 1 would allow the Dixie School District to replace an existing capital levy that will expire at the end of calendar year 2026. The replacement levy will be used to support the repairing, modernization, and remodeling of school facilities by continuing to fund health, safety and energy efficiency improvements at Dixie School. Further information is available at the District's website www.dixiesd.org. The proposed six-year replacement levy would authorize collection of taxes to provide $75,000 each year from 2027 through and including 2032. The levy rate required to produce these amounts is estimated to be $0.50 per $1,000 of assessed value. Exemptions from taxes may be available to certain homeowners.
