SHALL THE TOWN OF ALBION LEVY A ONE-YEAR EXCESS PROPERTY TAX OF $5,000, AN ESTIMATED $0.114 PER $1,000 OF 2026 ASSESSED VALUATION, FOR CEMETERY MAINTENANCE, HAZARDOUS TREE REMOVAL, GROUNDS IMPROVEMENTS, AND OTHER LAWFUL CEMETERY PURPOSES FOR THE TOWN OF ALBION FOR COLLECTION IN 2027?

A “Yes” vote means

Albion levies a one-year excess property tax of $5,000 (an estimated $0.114 per $1,000 of assessed value) for cemetery maintenance and hazardous tree removal, collected in 2027.

A “No” vote means

Albion does not levy the $5,000 cemetery excess property tax in 2027.

The Town of Albion requests voter approval of a one-year excess property tax levy of $5,000 to maintain and preserve the Town Cemetery. Funds may be used for hazardous tree removal, tree trimming, cemetery maintenance, grounds improvements, public safety, and other lawful cemetery purposes.
