Shall the Town of Colton be authorized to levy additional taxes by an excess levy in 2026 for collection in 2027 of approximately .53 per $1000.00 of assessed value, to raise $30,000.00 for General Operations, Improvement of the Town Streets and the Water/Sewer Systems?
A “Yes” vote means
Colton levies an excess property tax of about $0.53 per $1,000 of assessed value, raising $30,000 in 2027 for general operations, town streets and the water/sewer systems.
A “No” vote means
Colton does not levy the $30,000 excess property tax in 2027.
