A “Yes” vote means

Endicott levies a one-year excess property tax of $35,000 (an estimated $1.14 per $1,000 of assessed value) for street maintenance and street-related public safety, collected in 2027.

A “No” vote means

Endicott does not levy the $35,000 street excess property tax in 2027.

The Town of Endicott requests voter approval of a one-year excess property tax levy of $35,000 for street maintenance and public safety. Funds may be used for street repairs, preservation, drainage improvements, street lighting, traffic control devices, snow and ice response, liability insurance associated with the street system, and other lawful street-related public safety purposes. The estimated levy rate is $1.14 per $1,000 of assessed valuation. The final levy rate will be determined by the Whitman County Assessor.
