For the purpose of funding the operation and maintenance of the infrastructure, the City Council of the City of Palouse proposes, pursuant to RCW 84.52.052, to impose an excess property tax levy upon all taxable property within the City in the amount of $55,000.00, an estimated $0.73058 per $1,000.00 of assessed value in the year 2026 for collection in 2027, as provided in Resolution 2026-08. Should this proposition be approved?
A “Yes” vote means
Palouse levies an excess property tax of $55,000 (estimated at $0.73058 per $1,000 of assessed value in the ballot title) to operate and maintain city infrastructure, collected in 2027.
A “No” vote means
Palouse does not levy the $55,000 infrastructure excess property tax in 2027.
