Official plain English statement

Proposition No. 2 would renew the Town's special property tax levy in the amount of $80,000 to help fund the operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of the Town's water and sewer systems. Levy revenues may be used for the maintenance and improvement of the Town's wells and water system, including equipment replacement, maintenance, repair, and replacement of the Town's sewer treatment plant and related infrastructure. Recent maintenance and enhancements have included replacement pump motors, installation of a well monitoring system, and specialized professional services. If approved, the levy would provide continued funding to help maintain essential infrastructure and support the continued delivery of reliable water and wastewater services to Town residents.
