What this office does: The elected board of Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS). A 2026 state law (Senate Bill 4) cut the board from seven districts to five, and all five seats are on this year's ballot.

Adelmann is also printed on the ballot, but on September 18, 2026, a Jefferson Circuit Court judge ruled her disqualified because she did not show a District 3 residence; the clerk is not reprinting ballots and will post a notice that votes for her will not be counted (LPM News, Sept. 21, 2026).
