What this office does: A board of education member helps set policy and the budget, and hires the superintendent, for Martin County Schools.

Nonpartisan. The Secretary of State's filing list, the 2022 results and the Mountain Citizen's ballot guide (Lower Inez, Upper Inez and Turkey precincts) list this seat as District 1; the county's sample ballot prints it without a district number, above the Blacklog, Coldwater and John Davis precinct box.

Challengers are listed first and incumbents last; otherwise candidates appear in ballot order. The Gist does not rank, rate or endorse candidates. Only positions backed by a cited source are shown.
