What this office does: Magistrates sit on the fiscal court, the county's governing body, which adopts the county budget and ordinances with the county judge/executive. Warren County has six, each elected by one magisterial district.

Open seat: Magistrate Ron Cummings is not on the ballot. On the ballot in the Rockfield, Greystone, Woodburn, Richpond, Buchanon, Matlock, Plano, Phil Moore and Alvaton precincts (sample ballot).
