What this office does: A court of appeals judge hears appeals from the common pleas, municipal and county courts in the district; each case is decided by a three-judge panel.

Judges are elected by voters in Ashland, Coshocton, Delaware, Fairfield, Guernsey, Holmes, Knox, Licking, Morgan, Morrow, Muskingum, Perry, Richland, Stark and Tuscarawas counties.
