What this office does: A court of appeals judge hears appeals from the common pleas, municipal and county courts in the district; each case is decided by a three-judge panel.

Judges are elected by voters in Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Jefferson, Mahoning, Monroe and Noble counties.
