What this office does: The three commissioners run Clallam County PUD No. 1, the electric, water and wastewater utility for Clallam County outside the City of Port Angeles's electric service area, and set its rates.

Clallam County PUD No. 1 is countywide. Only District 2 voters nominate in the primary; voters of the entire PUD elect the commissioner (RCW 54.12.010).
