What this office does: The three commissioners run Kitsap Public Utility District, which provides water, wastewater and fiber internet service in Kitsap County, and set its rates.

Kitsap PUD covers all of Kitsap County. Only District 2 voters nominate in the primary; voters of the entire PUD elect the commissioner (RCW 54.12.010).
