What this office does: The three commissioners run Public Utility District No. 1 of Skamania County, which provides electric service in southern Skamania County and water service in Carson and Underwood, and set its rates.

Nominated by commissioner district in the primary; all PUD voters vote in the general (RCW 54.12.010). Skamania PUD says it serves southern Skamania County; its legal boundary was not confirmed, so the district is marked partial.
