Background for Chance W. Sampson

Sampson, a Marine Corps veteran who served in combat in Iraq, joined the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office in 2014 after working for the Perry and Warsaw police departments, and is a volunteer firefighter with the Bliss Fire Department. He finished fourth in the June 2026 Republican primary and is on the Stars & Stripes line.
