Vice chair of ANC 2F and commissioner for SMD 2F05 (Thomas Circle), he previously served as a commissioner from 2005 to 2009 and is community engagement manager for the DC Department of Parks and Recreation. He directed the Office of GLBT Affairs under Mayor Adrian Fenty and co-founded the Wanda Alston Foundation.
