A lifelong Brooklynite who grew up in East New York and NYCHA's Pink Houses, attended New York City public schools and the Parsons School of Design, and worked as a fashion designer and clothing salesman. A three-term PTA president and member of the Workers United Local 340 bargaining committee, he lost to the incumbent by 479 votes in 2024.
