Letcher County district judge since Gov. Andy Beshear appointed him in March 2025 after the death of Judge Kevin R. Mullins. He had been an attorney with the Hatton & Watts firm and an assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for Letcher County, and earned his law degree at the Appalachian School of Law.
