Background for Jamie Adams

District attorney for Anson, Richmond and Scotland counties since Gov. Roy Cooper appointed her in 2024 to succeed retiring District Attorney Reece Saunders. She had been the district's chief assistant district attorney and earlier prosecuted in Mecklenburg, Catawba, Burke and Caldwell counties.
