Background for Norman Sanderson

State senator since 2013, now representing District 2 (Carteret, Chowan, Halifax, Hyde, Martin, Pamlico, Warren and Washington counties), after one term in the N.C. House; he is a chair of the Senate Agriculture, Energy, and Environment Committee. A former Pamlico County Sheriff's Office officer, he owned a child care center in Havelock for more than 20 years.
