Background for Ryan Styer

Appointed by Gov. Mike DeWine in February 2026 to the Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Court to fill the seat of retired Judge Elizabeth Thomakos; previously the Tuscarawas County prosecuting attorney. A 1998 University of Akron School of Law graduate, he was a partner at Styer Law Offices and served as Newcomerstown village solicitor from 2004 to 2008.
