Background for S. Brett Guthrie

U.S. Representative for Kentucky's 2nd District since his 2008 election and chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. A West Point graduate and former Army officer, he worked in his family's Bowling Green manufacturing business and represented the 32nd District in the Kentucky Senate.
