Lexington public defender since 2008 who directed the Lexington South public defender office from 2013 to 2019 and since 2022 has represented clients facing death-penalty-eligible charges in eastern Kentucky with the Capital Trials Branch. She was an adjunct professor in the University of Kentucky law school's externship program.
