State senator for District 23 since 2022 and a special assistant to Purdue University President Emeritus Mitch Daniels, after serving as deputy chief of staff in the Purdue president's office. He is on the ballot after the Indiana Supreme Court ruled on Sept. 10, 2026, that he won the recounted Republican primary over Paula Copenhaver.
