Background for Tara Coats Hunt

Washington County prosecuting attorney since January 2023 and chair of the county Republican Party for more than nine years; she joined the prosecutor's office in 2017 after private practice in Wisconsin and as a partner in Hunt Rippey Law LLC. A Salem High School graduate, she holds degrees from Indiana University Southeast and Marquette University Law School.
