Voted for the 2026 tax on income over $1 million.

On the House's final passage vote on SB 6346 on March 9, 2026 (51-46), the Legislature's roll call lists Paul under "Voting yea." At a July forum he said he voted for it because of cuts the state would otherwise have made to K-12 and health care, and opposes lowering the income threshold.
