Opposes a state cap on school budget increases

Answered "Against" on the Citizens Count 2026 issue survey question: "Should state law cap how much local school districts can increase their budget each year?" Written answer: “School districts already have a "tax cap," it is their voters. Furthermore, tax caps never fix any problems and end up creating more problems by underfunding needs in the district from physical facilities to program offerings.”
