Opposes adding a state income tax on earned income

Answered "Against" on the Citizens Count 2026 issue survey question: "Should NH add an income tax on earned income?" Written answer: “The absence of a broad-based tax imposes a fiscal discipline that has served N.H. well, as evidenced by the very high rankings in so many catergories, espcially as compared to our neighboring high tax states.”
