Opposes the Education Freedom Account program

Answered "Against" on the Citizens Count 2022 issue survey question: "Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?" Written answer: “This is costing the state a lot more money than originally estimated. It pulls money away from public schools which are already struggling. The tax payers will have to make up the difference.”
