Opposes the Education Freedom Account program

Answered "Against" on the Citizens Count 2026 issue survey question: "Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?" Written answer: “The EFA program is just another example of our state government defunding public schools to give a tax break to wealthy parents who were already sending their kids to expensive private schools.”
