Opposes the Education Freedom Account program

Answered "Against" on the Citizens Count 2026 issue survey question: "Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?" Written answer: “Most students with an EFA were already in private schools, it did not help public school students find a better alternative. In addition, EFAs are sending public money to religious institutions which I believe violates the Constitution.”
