Opposes a state cap on school budget increases
Answered "Against" on the Citizens Count 2026 issue survey question: "Should state law cap how much local school districts can increase their budget each year?" Written answer: “School boards are responsible. Many of the costs in a school budget are not controlled by the boards. Large increases in these costs could force reductions in core educational activities if a cap is in place.”
