Opposes the Education Freedom Account program

Answered "Against" on the Citizens Count 2026 issue survey question: "Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?" Written answer: “This has been a terrible policy that undermines the premise of public education and, the unifying role of a local school district, and the impetus to continually improve our school system.”
