Opposes the Education Freedom Account program

Answered "Against" on the Citizens Count 2026 issue survey question: "Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?" Written answer: “The EFAs have little management transparency. The vast majority of families using EFAs have not had students in public schools ever. The majority of these funds go to religious schools which violates the Constitutional separation of church and state.”
