Opposes the Education Freedom Account program

Answered "Against" on the Citizens Count 2026 issue survey question: "Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?" Written answer: “I support the original intent of this program. I do not support it as it currently stands an expensive give away to wealthy families whose kids were already attending private or religious institutions.”
