Opposes adding a state income tax on earned income

Answered "Against" on the Citizens Count 2026 issue survey question: "Should NH add an income tax on earned income?" Written answer: “First, their are things the state must do and those activities must be funded accordingly. Many surrounding states have the burden of an income tax. NH lack of an income tax acts as a check on runaway spending.”
