Supports a state cap on school budget increases

Answered "For" on the Citizens Count 2026 issue survey question: "Should state law cap how much local school districts can increase their budget each year?" Written answer: “I am native to Massachusetts. 'Prop 2-1/2' reigned in towns that perennially overspent. Provision was made for citizens to vote to override such a cap each year should they choose to.”
