Opposes the Education Freedom Account program

Answered "Against" on the Citizens Count 2026 issue survey question: "Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?" Written answer: “I reject the use of taxpayer funds to support private education. Parents certainly have the right to send their children to private schools; however, they are not entitled to taxpayer support to do so.”
