Supports a state cap on school budget increases
Answered "For" on the Citizens Count 2026 issue survey question: "Should state law cap how much local school districts can increase their budget each year?" Written answer: “State law should permit local town citizens to readily vote for tax caps. The state should mandate that the opportunity to vote be granted, but not mandate the decision - that remains a local issue.”
