Opposes the Education Freedom Account program

Answered "Against" on the Citizens Count 2026 issue survey question: "Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?" Written answer: “I do not. This is a poorly constructed program. Public funds should not be spent on private and religious schools, the latter which violates the separation of church and state.”
