Voted to override veto of federal scholarship tax credit opt-in.

Voted Aye on May 20, 2026 when the House overrode the governor's veto of House Bill 87, the Educational Choice for Children Act (73-46). The act opts North Carolina into the federal tax credit, created by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, for donations to scholarship granting organizations.
