Supports county grant to recruit a full-service grocery store

The fiscal court put $500,000 and the city of Edmonton $75,000 toward reimbursements for a grocer chosen through the Barren River Area Development District; he said residents, especially those on fixed incomes, now drive to other towns for groceries.
