Guilford County Local Sales and Use Tax Referendum
Local sales and use tax at the rate of one-fourth of one percent (0.25%) in addition to all other State and local sales and use taxes to be used solely for classroom teacher salary supplements (70%), for fire protection equipment and services (18%), for Guilford Technical Community College (8%), and for qualifying municipalities for allowable expenses (4%).
Constitutional Amendment: Require Photo ID for All Voters
Constitutional amendment to require all voters, not just those presenting to vote in person, to present photo identification before voting.

City of Greensboro Parks and Recreation Bonds Referendum
Additional property taxes may be levied on property located in the City of Greensboro, North Carolina in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on bonds if approved by the following ballot question. Shall the order adopted on August 3, 2026, authorizing $11,500,000 PARKS AND RECREATION BONDS of the City of Greensboro, North Carolina, plus interest, for the purpose of providing funds, together with any other available funds, for acquiring, constructing, renovating, remediating, improving and equipping various parks and recreational facilities for said City, including, without limitation, the acquisition of related land, rights of way and equipment and the provision of loans, grants or other financial assistance to other parties to facilitate such purposes, and providing that additional taxes may be levied in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on said bonds be approved, in light of the following: (1) The estimated cumulative cost over the life of said bonds, using the highest interest rate charged for similar debt over the last 20 years, would be $18,257,755, consisting of the $11,500,000 principal amount of said bonds, plus $6,757,755 of estimated interest. (2) The estimated amount of property tax liability increase for each one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) of property tax value to service the cumulative cost over the life of said bonds provided above would be $2.80 per year.
City of Greensboro Firefighting Facilities Bonds Referendum
Additional property taxes may be levied on property located in the City of Greensboro, North Carolina in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on bonds if approved by the following ballot question. Shall the order adopted on August 3, 2026, authorizing $15,900,000 FIREFIGHTING FACILITIES BONDS of the City of Greensboro, North Carolina, plus interest, for the purpose of providing funds, together with any other available funds, for acquiring, constructing, renovating, improving and equipping various firefighting facilities for said City, including, without limitation, the acquisition of related land, rights of way and equipment, and providing that additional taxes may be levied in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on said bonds be approved, in light of the following: (1) The estimated cumulative cost over the life of said bonds, using the highest interest rate charged for similar debt over the last 20 years, would be $25,235,434, consisting of the $15,900,000 principal amount of said bonds, plus $9,335,434 of estimated interest. (2) The estimated amount of property tax liability increase for each one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) of property tax value to service the cumulative cost over the life of said bonds provided above would be $3.80 per year.
City of Greensboro Transportation Bonds Referendum
Additional property taxes may be levied on property located in the City of Greensboro, North Carolina in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on bonds if approved by the following ballot question. Shall the order adopted on August 3, 2026, authorizing $7,000,000 TRANSPORTATION BONDS of the City of Greensboro, North Carolina, plus interest, for the purpose of providing funds, together with any other available funds, for acquiring, constructing, renovating, improving and equipping various transportation related improvements for said City, including, without limitation, street, sidewalk, streetscape and bridge improvements, bicycle lanes, greenways, buses and bus station and shelter improvements and the acquisition of any related land, rights of way and equipment, and providing that additional taxes may be levied in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on said bonds be approved, in light of the following: (1) The estimated cumulative cost over the life of said bonds, using the highest interest rate charged for similar debt over the last 20 years, would be $11,104,459, consisting of the $7,000,000 principal amount of said bonds, plus $4,104,459 of estimated interest. (2) The estimated amount of property tax liability increase for each one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) of property tax value to service the cumulative cost over the life of said bonds provided above would be $1.70 per year.
City of Greensboro Municipal Building Bonds Referendum
Additional property taxes may be levied on property located in the City of Greensboro, North Carolina in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on bonds if approved by the following ballot question. Shall the order adopted on August 3, 2026, authorizing $2,100,000 MUNICIPAL BUILDING BONDS of the City of Greensboro, North Carolina, plus interest, for the purpose of providing funds, together with any other available funds, for acquiring, constructing, renovating, improving and equipping various buildings and facilities to be used for governmental purposes, including, without limitation, administrative, cultural and recreational activities and the acquisition of related land, rights of way and equipment, and providing that additional taxes may be levied in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on said bonds be approved, in light of the following: (1) The estimated cumulative cost over the life of said bonds, using the highest interest rate charged for similar debt over the last 20 years, would be $3,329,922, consisting of the $2,100,000 principal amount of said bonds, plus $1,229,922 of estimated interest. (2) The estimated amount of property tax liability increase for each one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) of property tax value to service the cumulative cost over the life of said bonds provided above would be $0.50 per year.
City of Greensboro Housing Bonds Referendum
Additional property taxes may be levied on property located in the City of Greensboro, North Carolina in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on bonds if approved by the following ballot question. Shall the order adopted on August 3, 2026, authorizing $5,000,000 HOUSING BONDS of the City of Greensboro, North Carolina, plus interest, for the purpose of providing funds, together with any other available funds, for acquiring, constructing, improving, rehabilitating and equipping multifamily and single family housing units in said City, principally for the benefit of persons of low and moderate income, including, without limitation, housing or neighborhood revitalization and permanent supportive housing programs and the providing of loans, grants or other financial assistance to such persons and to developers and other public and private providers of housing, and providing that additional taxes may be levied in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on said bonds be approved, in light of the following: (1) The estimated cumulative cost over the life of said bonds, using the highest interest rate charged for similar debt over the last 20 years, would be $8,063,912, consisting of the $5,000,000 principal amount of said bonds, plus $3,063,912 of estimated interest. (2) The estimated amount of property tax liability increase for each one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) of property tax value to service the cumulative cost over the life of said bonds provided above would be $1.20 per year.
