The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of human or social services, specifically for the purpose of paying operating expenses of the public children services agency and the care and placement costs of children, and the operation of senior citizens' services and facilities, that the county auditor estimates will collect $3,083,167 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $49 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 5-year county property tax for the public children services agency, children's care and placement, and senior citizens' services.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
