The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Bellville for the purpose of maintaining and operating the village cemetery, that the county auditor estimates will collect $83,572 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $70 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 5-year property tax to maintain and operate the Bellville village cemetery, estimated to collect $83,572 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
