An additional tax for the benefit of Madison Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of streets, roads and bridges in Madison Township that the county auditor estimates will collect $868,345 annually, at a rate not exceeding 4 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $140 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves an additional 4-mill, 5-year property tax for Madison Township streets, roads and bridges, estimated to collect $868,345 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
On the Madison Township precinct ballots (MAD A, D, E, G, I and O) and the MAN 1-D splits 0130/1 and 0130/7.
