What this office does: A member of the U.S. House of Representatives votes on federal laws, taxes and spending on behalf of the district.

Most of Montgomery County (every municipality except those listed here): not Bridgeport, East Greenville, Franconia, Hatfield (borough and township), Marlborough, Montgomery, Narberth, Norristown, Pennsburg, Red Hill, Salford, Souderton, Telford or Upper Hanover. It includes only part of Horsham Township (precincts 2-4, 3-3 and part of 4-1), part of Lower Merion Township (wards 1, 2, 3, 9 and 13, precinct 6-3 and part of 11-3) and part of Upper Merion Township (Belmont 5). The district also takes in eastern Berks County.
