City of Montesano Proposition 1: property tax levy lid lift (up to $3.22 per $1,000)
CITY OF MONTESANO PROPOSITION NO. 1 Levy to Maintain Essential Services, Public Safety and Emergency Services, Operations and Capital Improvements. The Montesano City Council has passed Ordinance No. 1679 to place before the voters a renewal property tax levy to maintain essential services, public safety and emergency services, operations, and capital improvements. This proposition would authorize an increase in the regular property tax levy to a total authorized rate of not to exceed $3.22 per $1,000 of assessed valuation for collection beginning in 2027 and to use the 2026 levy amount to recalculate subsequent levy limits for a period not to exceed six years by an annual 5% limit factor. Use of the additional funds would fund current service levels in the General Fund and Public and Safety Emergency Services. Should this proposition be approved?

Grays Harbor Fire District 2 Proposition 1: two-year levy lid lift to $1.50 per $1,000
Grays Harbor County Fire Protection District No. 2 Proposition No.1 Two Year Levy Lid Lift The Board of Grays Harbor County Fire Protection District No. 2 adopted Resolution No. 26-02 concerning a lid lift to establish its regular property tax levy. This proposition authorizes the District to establish its regular property tax levy at $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed value in 2026 and 2027 for collection each subsequent year. The funds will maintain and improve fire protection, and life safety services, replace apparatus and equipment, and provide for firefighter safety. The dollar amount of the 2027 shall serve as the base for computing subsequent levy limitations as provided by chapter 84.55 RCW.
