Childress ISD Proposition A: bonds for a combined junior high and high school ($88.5 million)
THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE; the issuance of $88,500,000 of bonds by the Childress Independent School District for the purpose of designing, constructing, renovating, improving, upgrading, updating, modernizing, acquiring and equipping school facilities (and any necessary or related removal of existing facilities) consisting of renovations, security improvements and new construction at the Childress High School campus to create a combined secondary school for junior high and high school students, and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.
Childress ISD Proposition B: bonds for a new elementary school ($36.3 million)
THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE; the issuance of $36,300,000 of bonds by the Childress Independent School District for the purpose of designing, constructing, renovating, improving, upgrading, updating, modernizing, acquiring and equipping school facilities consisting of a new elementary school, and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.
Childress ISD Proposition C: bonds for a new athletic fieldhouse ($9.1 million)
THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE; the issuance of $9,100,000 of bonds by the Childress Independent School District for the purpose of designing, constructing, renovating, improving, upgrading, updating, modernizing, acquiring and equipping athletics facilities consisting of a new athletic fieldhouse, and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.
Childress ISD Proposition D: purchase of attendance credit from the state
Authorizing the board of trustees of Childress Independent School District to purchase attendance credit from the state with local tax revenues.
